Continuing our annual tradition, here’s our take on the most popular PVD coating colors, 2026 edition. We called 2025 “The Year of Black and Chrome,” and these colors will always continue to be consumer favorites. However, in line with current interior palettes topping paint company lists for 2026 (check out Hidden Gem and the rest of the 2026 color palette by Behr Paint), PVD coating colors are the perfect companion to enhance the warm, natural trends in interior design.

Here are some classic colors you'll see a lot of in 2026.

Bronze has been making a strong comeback in fixtures and faucets in shades from light to dark. Bronze shades complement natural, warm colors and more traditional styles.  Bronze is back for styles ranging from farmhouse to industrial chic. Bronze PVD coatings give the shades consumers want without the care and aging issues of traditional rubbed bronze.

Silver PVD coatings

Silver hues are longstanding favorites, and cool silvers, such as chrome and stainless steel, are perfect for modern minimalism. But again, trends toward warmer home colors take advantage of both cool and warmer silvers.
